In a bizarre partnership that defies usual predictions, Ubisoft has unveiled an virtual partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, offering free bonus story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Mission Revealed
According to the official statement, "A strange encounter pulls heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where hints of banned ceremonies and terrifying metamorphoses echo through the shadows." The narrative introduces a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who tasks the duo with journeying into the Crystalline Cavern—a important location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her companion from a hidden cult.
The adventure focuses on "strange trials and a fearsome adversary" and is open to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Places and Changes
The teaser features the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was earlier where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through ages. The trailer concludes with a dramatic moment showing a character, probably the captive, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
Exclusive Rewards and Bonus Content
Players who accomplish the mission will obtain an exclusive katana alongside multiple objects concealed throughout the area in secret chests. The update also features premium Attack on Titan item packs, including:
